Rocking Horse Vintage Jingdezhen Underglaze Ceramic Mug - CM029

This Chinese retro ceramic mug combines a compact handleless shape with the decorative character associated with Jingdezhen ceramics. Its warm beige and deep red colourways, speckled surface and nostalgic rocking-horse motif give it a distinctive vintage folk-art look, while the tapered silhouette and dark contrasting interior keep the design refined rather than overly decorative.

Its more luxurious character comes from the finishing details and its connection to Jingdezhen, China’s most celebrated centres of ceramic craftsmanship for centuries. The textured exterior adds visual depth, while the dark glazed interior, defined rim and detailed motif give the mug a richer, more polished appearance. With a 270 ml capacity, it is well suited to coffee, tea and milk-based drinks and is also suitable for microwave use.
